GiveTheWorld.org is an online art project set up 10 years ago to unlock the healing power of 1001 classic stories and songs from Poland translated into English.

GiveTheWorld.org aims to change the way global audiences see Polish culture and introduce new ways of producing, distributing and using books. 

Why Poland? Because being based in the very heart of Europe this 1001 year old nation has survived and thrived through countless conflicts and crises – its stories and songs have the power to Entertain, Enlighten & Empower audiences of all ages all over the world – this is why we focus on translating and presenting them in English – our planet's most popular language. 

Why books? Books are the most effective and efficient way of communicating anything we could possibly know about everything our intellects and imaginations can conceive of. Using perfectly safe and sustainable particles of sunlight, paper and splashes of ink they can teleport knowledge between countless minds across thousands of years and miles at little or no cost (this is what libraries are for:). 

Why change? Paper books are easy print, but cost the Earth to distribute and promote and often become forgotten once they have been read once or twice. Ebooks are easy to issue, but not as engaging for our bodies and minds.

Now, there is a third way which combines digital and print technologies – “teleporting booqs” – printable PDFs which can instantly be created, sent and printed anytime anywhere in the world – then turned into precious handmade books which will not be left to gather dust on millions of bookshelves around the globe.

Why are we called “GiveTheWorld”? Because when we give people access to great stories and songs, we give them the keys to worlds they would otherwise never be able to experience, explore and enjoy. Thereby, we also Give The World a better educated and empathetic sort of global citizen, aware of the complex issues affecting our planet and able to make wise decisions based on what they know and can explain to others thanks to enhanced communication skills. 

GiveTheWorld publications are designed to improve wellbeing and increase intellectual capacities by bringing individuals and communities together around the sharing of stories and songs from Poland and in good time from all other countries and cultures around the world.
